What will dad do when mom is away? The bond between a dad and his baby is much different than a mother and her baby. They are much likely to have fun with them and be their first playmate.

Just take a look at why a mother shouldn’t leave the baby alone with a dad. These hilarious pictures will prove why!

This ingenious dad just proved to his wife that they don’t need to swaddle the baby in a blanket anymore. Clearly, he’s taken care of the problem. Who knew those pajamas could go that high?Well, the baby doesn’t seem to mind.

Women out there have their own memories of their dads disastrously trying to tie their hair. This little girl just got hers. Poor kid. She probably just wanted her hair up in a neat bun. Unfortunately, dad can’t let a good pun pass.

Ladies, this is a reminder to keep your makeup kits locked away. This little baby’s dad definitely got his hands on his wife’s eyebrow products and ran away with it. And thus, the poor kid got Cara Delevingne thick eyebrows.

It looks like this dad had a long day at work and fell asleep while watching his son. Good thing the boy is behaved enough to guard daddy as he snores away in his crib. Unfortunately, mom came home before he woke up.

It’s great when your children become more independent and set off into the world on their own. One of the big milestones is learning how to drive… still, it’s also a pretty terrifying milestone. The dads of the world have all kinds of different jobs and thus all kinds of different worlds to bring their kids into. You can teach them how to build things, how to balance a checkbook and how to… properly examine breast implants? We’re not sure what’s going on here, our dads weren’t plastic surgeons.

The general stereotype is that parents want to prevent their children from getting too many tattoos. At the very least, they want them to be of age and they want them to think carefully about getting them. Still, not all families are the same as this picture perfectly shows. How are you going to tell your kids not to get inked when your back looks like this?

50. Sometimes we get a little too competitive with our kids.

Look, we get it. Dads always have to prove that they can one-up their kids, and that means they have to be able to beat them at all kinds of different activities. Though that makes sense when they’re teens, it doesn’t always make sense when they’re tiny. To put it more bluntly: trampoline dodgeball is not necessarily the time to dunk on your five-year-old.

Baby faces are already so cute that it’s almost irresistibly tempting to add a little more decoration of our own. If you’ve only got some black construction paper nearby, you make do with what you have and you come up with something like this. What do you think? We’re pretty impressed.

52. We know he meant well, but come on…

When you’re a dad, you’re bigger and stronger than your kids are for quite a long time. That means giving them piggyback rides, picking them up and walking around with them and so much more. It can also mean doubling up with them on a bicycle where you do all the cycling… just make sure you pull your pants up enough, first.

53. Like we said before, multi-tasking is very important!

Being a good parent means keeping your eye on many different things at once. You have to make sure your kids aren’t getting into trouble, often while they’re running around, playing with other kids and who knows what else. In moments like this one where your kid is having a drink, it’s important to find a way to get yourself some sustenance as well. Nice job, dad.

Like we said before, keeping an eye on your kids while doing other things is of tantamount importance as a father. Though usually that only applies in chaotic situations where a lot of things are going on, it also applies when… you want to play video games I guess? Still, that drawer actually looks pretty comfortable from what we can tell.

55. Dads get tired too, you know.

The great thing about a stroller is that you can go out and explore the world with your baby or toddler without your little one getting too tired. Still, what people don’t take into account is that dads can get pretty tired from walking around and pushing their kids all day. Another thing people don’t know is that dads can fit pretty comfortably into strollers in a pinch!

56. Who needs a shopping cart when you’ve got a stroller?

Make a cake for him to take to school, they said. It’ll be easy, they said. Still, what nobody expected was for dad to make some interesting creative choices when it came to preparing the cake! We’re sure that it tastes delicious…. it just doesn’t necessarily look very appetizing. Still, it’s going to look great in the family photo album!

As we’ve already established, decorating your kids is pretty fun. When they’re young, you have enough control over your children to make them wear whatever you want, take whatever pictures you want them to take and generally have a lot of fun with them. Still, sometimes you get a look like this one when you put a banana peel on your baby’s head. Hey, you live and you learn.

It’s a well-known fact that babies and toddlers can be pretty fussy about being put down for the night. Though babies like to feel safe and swaddled when they go to sleep, they often find ways to shake their blankets off or drop them when they’re out walking around.
